Bowl for Kids Sake raises $21,738 for Big Brothers Big Sisters

JOHN, B.C. –  The 25th annual Bowl for Kids Sake was held yesterday at Fort Bowling Lanes with 30 teams participating. Nearly $22,000 was raised with all of the money staying within the community to support the overall costs for Big Brothers Big Sisters.Program support coordinator Kristen Danczak said the organization realizes it’s a difficult time when it comes to money. With that they’re thankful to still get a solid contribution from the event.“We definitely really appreciate it in a year when the economy isn’t looking so good.
