Vivo mostly promotes its V series phones, but this time, the company is changing its strategy. We at India Today Tech can confirm that Vivo will be launching Y95 in India by the end of November. And like it goes for all the previously launched Y series smartphones, the Vivo Y95 will also be priced under Rs 15,000 in the country. The company, however, is yet to reveal the exact launch date of the Y95, but we can confirm that the smartphone will go official after November 20.With the Y95, Vivo will be looking to take on the likes of Redmi Note 6 Pro which as reports claim will be launching in India around November 20. However, Xiaomi is yet to reveal India launch details of the Redmi Note 6 Pro, which is already official in some of the international markets. Same goes for the Vivo phone as well. The company is yet to reveal official details about the Y95.According to a report coming from 91Mobiles, the Vivo Y95 will be soon available for purchase across offline retail stores. This means, while the Vivo phone will be available on both online as well as offline channels, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will be an online exclusive product. However, as it goes for all Xiaomi products, the upcoming Redmi Note 6 Pro will available across partner retail stores, Mi.com and also on the company’s offline store — Mi.com.The Vivo Y95 is expected to come with V11 Pro like Halo notch design or a waterdrop notch. This will make the Y95 the first Vivo phone under Rs 15,000 price segment to come with waterdrop notch style design. As of now, the Vivo Y95 is yet to be available globally, and we expect India to be one of the first markets to get the phone. The phone will come with 19:9 aspect ratio and run and Android Oreo-based FunTouch OS custom skin. On the hardware front, the Vivo Y95 is expected to be powered by MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB storage via microSD card. The smartphone could be backed by a 3,260mAh battery.On the camera front, the Vivo Y95 is said to sport two cameras on the back and one on the front. In comparison, the Redmi phone will come with four cameras – two on the back and two on the front. The Vivo Y95 is expected to come with a primary sensor of a 13MP and secondary sensor of 5MP on the rear panel.
